Most of my life I used not to take my self too seriously and I think it is a good trade. It become more difficult after trauma, but sometimes, I still notice the events that make me smile.

When scammers are more decent than QBE insurance or some personal injury lawyers

An hour ago, I got an email from my previous solicitors that they want me to take my site down. The only explanation that I have not discussed it with them. I am not going to do it. I did way more stupid things before, but now I feel that I am out of their control, and I will not let it happen again. Or at least I hope so. Nevertheless, I am sitting and trembling. Can not do anything. I am trying to breath deeper, but my whole body keeps shaking. Head is empty. Yet, I feel same hopeless and in danger as I was feeling when I had to deal with these lawyers. Phone starts to ring. It is lying on a table, and I can see that number is not in phone book. I have to use both hands to pick it up and answer. Otherwise, my hands are shaking just too much, and I would not be able to handle it. I collect myself and answer in as calm voice as possible.

CALLER	Good day sir. I am calling from Microsoft customer service. How are you today?
ME	Stressed. I just read an email where my previous solicitors are asking to take down my site where I am telling my story. I can not stop trembling.
CALLER	What is your story about?
ME	I have been injured 8 years ago. Since then I struggling with QBE insurance and then lawyers who were meant to represent me, but did very bad job. I want to write about my experience. It helps me a lot to deal with PTSD. Every time I write what happened and how it made me feel I feel a bit safer.
CALLER	Why do they want it down?
ME	They really did not say. It looks like they do not like that I wrote what has happened.
CALLER	Hmm. I am sorry that they made you feel this way. When do they want site down?
ME	One solicitor Moya, told me to take it down in one day, other firm Law Partners in two days.
CALLER	(laughs) Do not do it. It sounds like scam. They are putting pressure on you are trying to manipulate you. You should be careful when you speak on the phone. Do not speak to them at all. If they need something they have to write, so that you have evidence.
ME	I do not speak to them. I get overwhelmed and get noxious so that I cannot speak. PTSD kicks in hard.
CALLER	Do not pick the phone if they call you. Do not answer. Protect yourself. I am so sorry, that they are doing this to you. Also be careful while telling the information that can identify you over the phone.
ME	I am. Just they were representing me. So, I had to provide all information to them.
CALLER	That is difficult. Is your claim finished or is still ongoing?
Me	Almost finished. I just need to deal with exaggerated fees.
CALLER	How much did they charge you?
ME	If I fail to do anything about it all legal fees together might come close to $300,000.
CALLER	O my good. The have scammed you. They took opportunity that you were injured and they scammed you. I am so sorry, that this happened to you. You need to challenge it. The must be government institutions to help you. Look for community organizations to help you to deal with it. And do not take your site down. Keep it. Tell to everyone what they did and help others to avoid it. Especially if it helps you. They have no right to ask you to take site down, just because they do not like it. Sites are very difficult to take down. They are trying to scare your and manipulate you. Just do not write any private information about you like your address and so on. They are business and you have a right to tell how they operate. I wish you strength and luck.

CALLER	Also be careful when you take unknown calls like this. Do not give any personal information on phone. These might be scam. You suffered already a lot. I am so sorry for this. They are just bullying you. I wish you strength to fight. Tell your story. It will help other people too. I will remove you from our database. ME	(thinking) I needed this chat. It is nice to have support. It is a strange thing when scammer is way more decent that the lawyers whom you hired to represent you.

I have shortened conversation. We spoke about half an hour, and he was very supportive, helpful and honest. He told me that he is a scammer and my previous lawyers' actions are scam. He knows what he is talking about.

Scam calls are back

Few weeks have passed, and I started getting scam calls again. It seems they updated their database, and the source gave my phone number again.
