Continuous traumatic stress

I was listening to episode about Continuous Traumatic Stress vs Post Traumatic Stress, when I realised that it applies well to me. I do not compare my self to the dangers of people living in a war zone, or other dangers mentioned in the video, but I am sure some treatment techniques might help me too.

I have always struggled with the statements in all PTSD treatment programs that the trauma and all stressful tasks are in the past, nothing important left to do. But that is not true. Most of the stressful tasks are waiting to be done. There is a significant financial loss ahead if my abusers get things their way.
